Honest reviewWhen I read the description of this book I knew immediately that I had to read it Honestly I am very glad that I did When I started to read the book it turned out that my predictions regarding the story line were completely wrong and I am glad that they were I was xpecting a boyfriend hates my best friend dilemma YA sob story book I was happy that I was wrong and the book was a lot a I was provided this book in xchange for an honest reviewLet me start out by saying that I don t particularly care for books related to history I usually prefer my books to be "100% Fictitious This Book Is "fictitious This book is based off the vents of Chernobyl which you don t realize until you get about half way through the book This didn t bother about half way through the book This didn t bother though I really A Meditation on Murder enjoyed Dana s interpretation of thevents of Chernobyl You can tell she really did her research for this book which added to why I njoyed it It was remarkable Moving onto characters I was SO AFRAID that Steven was going to nd up being a bad guy The whole way through the book I was like if he Travis ends up being a bad guy I m going to scream I thought he might be Russian KGB but I was totally wrong Steven was by far the most intricate and thought out character He was also the only one with a really good character description That was one of the only things about this book I found lacking I didn t really know how to picture Claire or Olena that was pretty much left open to reader s interpretation Claire had a great attitude If I found out my best friend was involved in something like Olena was I would have laughed and told her good luck on her own Claire was relatable and truly a great protagonist Olena was a character I had a little bit of an issue fullynjoying I don t feel like her character was developed far nough Honestly we don t get much of her dialog just a lot of facial xpressions LOL The only other issue I had with the book was contractions There were hardly any contractions in the dialog and it made it a little discerning That s not how people actually talk I can not believe I did not know It pulled me away from the story a lot I know you re not supposed to use contractions in body paragraphs and developing the story but they are a MUST in dialog I loved how this wasn t based in present time I liked how it was in the 90 s The music references were perfection It made me really relate to the story This book was AI Weiwei: Beijing Photographs, 1993-2003 extremely well written a completely original story line and a really uick read It is one I ll remember for a while because it s so uniue from anything I vever read Go Dana Another great read action check. Her new boyfriend Steven for support Claire is faced with the choice on who to trust a friend she barley knows or a history lesson she barely remembers Together the three will begin a journey that will take Claire from the safety of her hom. ,

E to the last place she thought she wouldver be The Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant With the wreckage of rector four looming behind her Claire will have to see Olena's plan through until the nd if she wants any chance of making it out alive. .
